Break through dimensions and enter the world of comics
In 2017 the exhibit series "World of Comics" explored cross-discipline presentations. This year, the upcoming "Roaming in Fantasy: Creative Comic Collection Exhibit" features Scrolls of a Northern City, in making use of Apple ARKit 2 to recreate AR scenes of the story animated by characters populating the narrative. They will be there to greet the visitor.
Creative Comic Collection (CCC) seeks to forge a cultural industry chain that taps into the body of resources in multiple ways. An original manga story, Scrolls of a Northern City develops into a cinematographic adaptation, which brings the audience back to Taipei under the Japanese rule with a twist of fantasy elements. This exhibit will screen pilot scenes of the movie and behind-the-scene stories, not to mention the costumes, props, and pictures of the film, which will be on display at the same spot.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of CCC, whose publication history will be told through an interactive bookshelf with a touch panel powered by Aver Information. People can scribble and comment on the virtual wall and have a look at the signature of the magazine's contract manga artists.
