With Academia Sinica GO 2.0, you can now find your way in and around the research cluster's big campus. The app's goal is to help scholars, staff, and visitors satisfy their quotidian needs.

Since October 2017, Academia Sinica GO focuses on in-campus navigation and updates you on the latest goings-on in Academia Sinica. The new version extends its scope to the neighborhood of Academia Sinica, stretching from the campus to Nangang station, Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Taipei City Library-Jiuzhuang Branch, Dakeng Street, and China University of Science and Technology. 

The app now provides a catholic range of practical information, which divides into 15 categories ranging from food, convenient store, parking, medical help, and beauty salon to ATM, school, pet and laundry. Special note to the new app's forte: you will find meticulous detail in the first four categories. Seeking to be fast and exact, the food section caters to all kinds of dietary needs, with subcategories such as rice, noddle and dumpling, vegetarian, fast food, breakfast, beverage etc.

Except walking, Academia Sinica GO 2.0 now includes mass transport and driving as the mode of navigation. It helps you plan your route and estimate the time and distance for traveling.

Another noteworthy feature is that the user can now report the change made to the local businesses via Contact Us, such that all the information stays the latest in the app.
