Founded in 2006, Cyber Island is a non-profit platform on which people share photographs. An open-access-driven enterprise, Cyber Island welcomes everyone's attempt to capture moments of beauty and aspects of life in Taiwan.

The theme for 2018 picture selection focuses on patterns among light and shadow. We have chosen 12 impressive pictures from the pool of submission and produced a series of digital desktop free for download.

How to DIY a hard-copy desktop calendar

• Print the file in horizontal and double-sided A4 sheets. Use papers that can be processed by your printer (preferably 190-220g/㎡)
• Cut the papers into 22 cm wide and 13 cm long leaves (following the lines on the calendar marked as yuejishi 月記事 will do)
