Do you know there are over 59,000 species in Taiwan?
In celebration of the International Day for Biological Diversity (IDB, May 22), the Academia Sinica Center for Digital Cultures (ASCDC) welcomes everyone at "Forestlings Pavilion" at the 2018 Forest Fair. There will be games featuring the Taiwan Encyclopedia of Life and The Fish Database of Taiwan for you to get to know more about the biodiversity of Taiwan.
Be sure not to miss the Creative Comic Collection at the stall as well – have a look at Saving the Last Leopard Cat by Kokai and join the adventure for survival of Taiwan's only aboriginal feline threatened by roadkill. Upload a selfie and check in with the protagonist's stand!
Also available are special puzzles and postcard drawing workshops. Free issues of Seafood Guide Taiwan are there for you to grab – equip your seafood sally with guidelines for food safety and eco-friendly consumption.
Come to sample the fun inspired by biology and manga!
