At the 2022 Taipei International Book Exhibition, Academia Sinica will present an exhibition— "EUREKA × Academia Sinica," which comprised of two exhibition areas, "Seeking Truth in Research" and "Looking for Light in the Trend of Thoughts." Through a compilation of the people and books at Academia Sinica, the exhibition will showcase the process of knowledge discovery and creation.

As a pioneering scientific research institute, Academia Sinica is dedicated to solving problems, creating knowledge, and contributing to the world, according to Academia Sinica's President, James C. Liao. "EUREKA," the theme of this year's exhibition, reflects Academia Sinica scholars' enthusiasm and vision for scientific discoveries and signifies that "the excavation and exploration of knowledge will never end."

Academia Sinica Vice President Chin-shing Huang, the main force behind the exhibition, noted that digital trends come in waves and the "digital reading" era is taking shape gradually. Therefore, in addition to maximizing the benefits of physical publishing, Academia Sinica has been incorporating the advantages of digital technology to present research results and illustrate the research process of careful deliberation and seeking evidence.

The "EUREKA" exhibition includes books recently published by various Academia Sinica institutes, with topics on history, literature, philosophy, sociology, etc. The "Academia Sinica Publications Integration Platform" is also officially inaugurated online today, allowing visitors to view its bibliography of almost 3,000 research monographs and serial publications all at once.

Furthermore, this year's exhibition features three speeches, where Academia Sinica scholars share their eureka moments over their years of research. The speeches will be held on-site and simultaneously live-streamed via YouTube.

Purchases over NT$500 get additional gifts, such as project folders and magnifying glass bookmarks (150 copies only).
