EUREKA! We sincerely invite you to a feast of knowledge and a glimpse of the luminesce of academic research.

 

The grand opening for the 2022 Taipei International Book Exhibition will be June 2. The Academia Sinica's "EUREKA × Academia Sinica" exhibit will demonstrate discovering and creating knowledge and focusing on the era of digital diversion where physical meets digital at the point of knowledge.

 

The special exhibition is organized by Academia Sinica Center for Digital Cultures (ASCDC), with two exhibition sections, "Seeking Truth in Research" and "Looking for Light in the Trend of Thoughts" is specially launched. In addition to excerpting handpicked quotations from 21 scholars of the Academia Sinica, also selecting the essence of the four monographs, Research for You: Academia Sinica 21 Life Science Lessons, Reflections on COVID-19, Farmers' Stories (3): Oral Histories of Rural Society and Culture Survey in Taiwan, Adventures in the Biodiversity Wonderland, with pictures and text, readers are invited to discover how knowledge flows between paper and digital forms.

 

This special exhibition displays books published by the various institutes at Academia Sinica in recent years. This year, for epidemic prevention and safety measures, readers are encouraged to purchase books through online bookstores. At the same time, this special exhibition also plans marvelous book lectures, inviting several scholars to come forward and discuss new academic knowledge in various fields on different topics.

 

The "Academia Sinica Publications Integration Platform" is officially inaugurated online on June 2, providing a guide for all walks of life to view Academia Sinica's bibliography of nearly 3,000 research monographs and serial publications to grasp the latest trends in the academic world.
