[Call for Papers] PNC 2021 Annual Conference and Joint Meetings Submissions (Extended to June 15)

Call for Papers and Posters

Main Theme: Sustainable Digital Heritage

It is our great pleasure to announce that the PNC 2021 Annual Conference and Joint Meetings (PNC 2021) will be held in Academia Sinica, Taiwan from September 28th-30th, 2021, accompanied by online access to a virtual version of the conference. The main theme of the PNC 2021 is "Sustainable Digital Heritage." 

 

The PNC 2021 serves as an opportunity for researchers and developers to facilitate information exchanges among institutions of higher education in the Pacific Rim through computing and communications technology. PNC explores issues of information and technology exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the development of the cultural knowledge contents. The technical program of PNC 2021 will include invited keynote, paper presentations, workshops, and poster sessions.

 

Authors are invited to submit an anonymous technical paper manuscript in double-column IEEE format. (The style guide is included in the downloadable templates.) The proceedings of the conference will be submitted to IEEE Xplore Digital Library for indexing. Topics for submission include but are not limited to:

Submission Information

  • Abstracts: Paper (minimum 500 words); Poster (maximum 500 words)
  • Full Paper (minimum 6 pages)
  • Poster & Demo (1 page; 1 min video)

 

Important Dates 

Abstract Submission Deadline: June 15th, 2021

Acceptance Notification: July 15th, 2021 

Deadline for Full Paper Submission: August 15th, 2021

 

Submission Details 

Paper Submissions

Authors must first submit a paper proposal by June 15th, 2021 in the form of an abstract (minimum 500 words). The full paper submissions are required by August 15th, 2021. Submissions must be original, in English, and should not have been published previously while being evaluated for this conference. The paper's required length is minimum 6 pages including figures, tables & references. All submitted papers must conform to the IEEE Xplore Format for conference proceedings. 

Poster Submissions

Researchers engaging in computational and communications media and technology are invited to submit poster proposals for work that responds to this year's conference themes. Authors are required to submit poster proposals by June 15th, 2021 in the form of an abstract (maximum 500 words). In addition to the final poster PDF, authors must also give an oral poster presentation in video format (1 minute) in English. The final poster and video must both be submitted by August 15th, 2021. All posters and videos will be presented in digital format during the conference.  

Poster authors must also choose to enter one of two categories: "Poster Competition" or "Demonstration Zone."
