This project aims to establish a digital paraphrase database focused on the Imjin War (1592 ~ 1598), analyzing the similarities and differences between the Ming Shilu and the Joseon Wangjo Sillok illustrating the same events. Adopting the latest GraphRAG (Graph Retrieval- Augmented Generation) technique and machine learning model for paraphrase, the project seeks to build an unprecedented paraphrase database. The project leverages deep learning methodologies to explore the interactions between the Ming Dynasty and the Joseon Dynasty, establishing an innovative research database that sets a new benchmark for digital humanities research. The research values are promoting methodological innovations in historical research, enhancing cross-cultural understanding of East Asian history, and providing more vivid and interactive learning experiences for the public. The project will ensure intellectual property and digital rights of the digital outputs, adopting an open- access approach to foster academic exchange and public education. |
