Overview

This is the extended project of "Han-Nom ancient books and Traditional Knowledge in Vietnam from the Perspective of Sinology" for the 112th year. Following last year's plan, the first year is the "Introduction of Digital Technology" phase, aimed at establishing the "Han-Nom Document Circulation Platform" and related authoritative files. The second year and the third year will enter the "Specific Research" phase. The topics to be explored will focus on Subtopic 1, "The Construction Process of Vietnamese Traditional Knowledge," and Subtopic 2, "The Production and Transmission of Vietnamese Traditional Knowledge." Simultaneously, the enhancement of the functions of the "Han-Nom Document Circulation Platform" will continue, with the goal of preparing it to serve as a digital repository for Han-Nom documents in the future. The research outcomes will contribute to advancing Sinology studies in Southeast Asia and enhancing the integration of regional research and public understanding of Vietnamese history and culture. The digital technology achievement of this project, the "Han-Nom Document Circulation Platform," will also provide researchers with relevant data analysis on "regional," "long-term," and "knowledge-type" aspects, aiming to open up diverse research perspectives.
