The Integrated Joint Research of Taiwan Indigenous Groups Project is carried out by the Institute of Ethnology and Institute of Taiwan History, Academia Sinica. Since 2020, it has aimed at integrating Taiwan's research efforts and incorporating both historical and ethnographic approaches to study issues of traditional territory, transitional justice and urban migration of indigenous peoples, with the expectation that these research results would contribute to the benefits of Taiwan's indigenous groups. Other than organizing seminar series, this project will collaborate with the "Comparative Austronesian Studies Research Group" to hold an international conference in 2021.
